As much as I love summer, I am so excited for fall! One thing I can't wait to wear are cute socks. I really want to layer them with boots and dress up some loafers in a fun way. And I'm all about interesting dresses/skirts with tights. It's just an adorable look. I picked up these socks from Aldo for $2.98! They're from last season, but a lot of the patterns are being carried over into Fall 2011.

Probably just one of my wish lists for Spring and Summer 2011. The pics aren't particularly what I want, just visuals. Some stuff I already have and want more of for DIY projects (like the denim shirt and high waist denim shorts). I've been on an eBay frenzy, but after today it ends... at least until next month. I cannot wait until Spring! All this cold weather and snow is depressing. Warmer weather can change your whole attitude and wardrobe.
I have already gotten my high waist shirts, as well as made a pair of my own. Now I need black! I also have a maxi skirt from the thrift store. I suggest looking their first rather than buying one for about $20. I already have a denim shirt, but I want to make one of my own; studded perhaps? I also want an demin jacket and vest, plus extras (thrift) for some cool DIY projects. (I'm on a creative streak- can't you tell?) I have also been on the hunt for a canvas backpack. I didn't know they were as expensive as they are, but they're lovely. Valentine's Day gift to myself?
What's on your wish list for Spring and Summer 2011?
How was everyone's New Year?! Mine was pretty okay. Not long after 2011 began, I was ready to go to sleep. LOL But the BEST part of New Years was dressing up! I did some too much shopping and I kind of forgot New Years was coming up and I quickly put together a cute little outfit. I went to some thrift shops as well, but I'll save that for another post!
The first two outfit pics were taken when I finally got home with my Nikon P80 because my D3000 had died earlier. The last single one was taken with my D3000 before I left the house (please excuse my hair clips lol). I've also been considering getting a lookbook, but I may have to wait until my outfit pictures get better or I get more followers.

I've been so preoccupied playing with my new Nikon D3000 (my Christmas gift to myself), doing some writing and tumblr and I know I haven't been updating as much as I usually do, but my Nikon is my new baby and my current obsession. So far it's a pretty amazing camera and my pictures come out better than I expected! I still love my Nikon Coolpix P80, buttttt my D3000 is a best!
