Ombreeee, Ombre

So in love with the ombre summer hair trend even though just about everyone has it. What is it exact ally? It's the fade of hair color vertically that usually goes from dark to light. It's meant to look like you don't give a f*ck and have yet to dye your roots. I think the trend looks better on wavy or 'messy' hair. WANT! YouTube has tons of how to videos for your hair or even extensions (as I've found it hard to find pre-dyed extensions). What do you Dolls think? Or are you tired of it already?

Round Thang

Hey Dolls! A trend I want to to try is a round nail. I love the square tips because it's a classic and clean look, but why not try something new?? I was in Florida on vacation and the guy at the nail salon was rude because he had a lot of customers and tried to basically rush me out so I didn't get to try :(

Anyways... I've been working like crazy on RagDoll, getting products and such and I'm uber excited. It will be THE place to go for trendy accessories! I'm proud to announce we will have a launch giveaway soon too! Who doesn't love a giveaway?

Fall Socks!

As much as I love summer, I am so excited for fall! One thing I can't wait to wear are cute socks. I really want to layer them with boots and dress up some loafers in a fun way. And I'm all about interesting dresses/skirts with tights. It's just an adorable look. I picked up these socks from Aldo for $2.98! They're from last season, but a lot of the patterns are being carried over into Fall 2011.

How are you wearing socks this season?

Tribal Prints

On the runway and in the new Spring 2011 store collections and lookbooks are tribal prints. Tribal prints give a cool boho look too or you can go with the edgy boho look. The tribal prints vary in value for bright and bold colors or darker earth tones. A lot of the tribal prints can be found at vintage and thrift stores. I've seen a lot of tribal print cardigans and sweaters on eBay vintage stores.

I love the boho tribal look, but I really love how it can be easily mixed into a sophisticated or edgy look. I put together three looks with tribal print inspired pieces. Swellmayde even has a DIY project to get the tribal/ethic print vest that I can't wait to try! You can look from a cool pair of print pants in a thrift store too.
